Last updated: April 18, 2026. These terms govern your use of sealaviesxm.com (the "Site") and all bookings made with SeaLaVie SXM.
Booking & Payment
By booking with SeaLaVie SXM, you agree to the following terms. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Guests must be 18 years or older to make a reservation. All bookings are processed through our booking engine at book.sealaviesxm.com, operated by Guesty. Payment disputes should be directed to hello@sealaviesxm.com.
Cancellations & Refunds
- Full refund minus 5% credit card processing fee if canceled within 48 hours of booking.
- 50% refund if canceled 14 or more days before check-in (after the 48-hour window).
- No refund if canceled within 14 days of check-in or for no-shows.
- A 5% card processing fee applies to all cancellations.
Changes to Reservations
Modifications to existing bookings depend on availability and may include additional costs. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to change your dates or property.
Special Circumstances
In the event of emergencies such as illness, severe weather, or other extraordinary circumstances, please contact us directly at hello@sealaviesxm.com or +1 721-586-8187. We will work with you on a case-by-case basis to find a fair resolution.
House Rules & Property Use
Guests are expected to follow all house rules provided for their specific property and treat the accommodation with respect. Violations of house rules may result in early termination of the stay without refund. Specific house rules (quiet hours, pool use, parking, pet policy, smoking policy) are communicated at the time of booking and in the check-in instructions for each property.
Liability
SeaLaVie SXM is not responsible for personal injury, loss of personal belongings, or issues arising from third-party services (transportation, excursions, restaurants, etc.) during your stay. Guests are encouraged to obtain travel insurance for their trip. SeaLaVie SXM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Site, the booking engine, or the rental properties.
Termination of Booking
SeaLaVie SXM reserves the right to cancel a booking if these Terms are violated, if the property becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, or if guest behavior endangers the property or other guests. In such cases, a refund will be issued at our discretion.
Website Use
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, submit false information through forms, attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, or scrape content without permission.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, photographs, logos, and design — is the property of SeaLaVie SXM or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that property listings, pricing, or availability information is always current.
Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By confirming your booking, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sint Maarten (Dutch side). Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sint Maarten.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the Site or booking of our properties constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
